The inaugural Regulatory Day was organised by Rajah & Tann LLP on 19th May 2011 at the Fullerton Hotel, Singapore.
This exclusive half-day event was organised to garner insights on the latest regulatory compliance and enforcement issues facing the business community. It included a keynote address by Mr Ng Chad-Son, Director of Research and Enterprise Division, Ministry of Trade and Industry and a senior executive plenary panel session featuring Mr Andrew MacDonald, a partner of Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Services team, Mr Dom Chester, the Director for Crisis and Security Consulting at Control Risks, a specialist risk consultancy firm and Mr Jimmy Oei, the Principal Legal Officer of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.
In addition to 9 other panel discussions on key regulatory topics, there was also a detailed presentation on the latest findings from the BT Regulatory Survey that The Business Times conducted with the assistance of Rajah & Tann.
