Rajah & Tann is ranked in the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Employer of Choice Ranking 2012 for the Singapore market. The results were based on an online survey conducted with leading law firms and lawyers across Asia to gather feedback on key areas such as work-life balance, remuneration, promotion prospects and IT support.

The feedback from the survey on Rajah & Tann indicated that the firm cares about its employees. One respondent attributed Rajah & Tann as a firm that "tries very hard to be an understanding employer" and another felt like "everyone is treated as part of this big family". The firm was also commended for its incentives and developmental programmes. One respondent shared "I feel that my employer, Rajah & Tann, is a place where I can have security and am able grow to my best potential". Another content respondent praised Rajah & Tann as "a well-rounded employer that really takes care of its employees".

Rajah & Tann is well known in the legal fraternity for its strong focus on work-life balance initiatives and it remains the only Singapore law firm to win the Work-Life Excellence Award from the Ministry of Manpower.
